TGIF!

Happy Friday everyone! Even though it is storming here and bringing back memories from 2 weeks ago and the tornado- "without any warning", I a remaining calm. Not freaking out, not stressing, not feeling sick to my stomach, not lighting candles, not looking for flashlights, not carrying pillows and blankets to the first floor, not watching the weather channel, not looking for that solar radio my mom gave me years ago that won't have power anyway, not stressing at all. Just having a pleasant, relaxing Friday evening. I hope ya'll are also!

OK... Here goes...

Today is Tuesday! Tuesdays CAN be terriffic! Why you ask?

Because....

1.  It's not Monday.

2. My teacup Chihuaua, Minnie finally had a bowl movement today, 5 days after her surgery!

3. My son, Nick had 1/2 of a root canal today and survived!

4. My son, Alex finally stopped vomiting after 12 hours! :)

5. I think I lost weight - due to the side affects of cleaning up vomit! :)

6. I am growing, "onions", in my yard - even thou I didn't plant any. (they smell delicious)!

7. Last but not least...

8.  I WON THE LOTTERY!!!!  $4.00 on a $2.00 ticket!!!!!!!! I'm up 2 bucks!!!

Positive Thinking!

I need to count my blessings-instead of dwelling on my "our" loss. I have 3 healthy children! Nicole, Alexander and Nicholas. Geez... I will continue this message later. I'm sorry.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand!

Pity Party

I'm having a pity party that I need to get over. I need to count my blessings and stop feeling sorry for myself. But I still have difficult days. I miss my husband and I need him. Our children need him. There are so many things in our everyday life that I don't know how to do. I'm scared and sad. Tomorrow might be better.

SCARY, SCARY NIGHT!!!!!

Tornado touched down in my neighborhood at 2:30 am. No notice! Very scary! We don't and cannot have basements in the south! We need some kind of warning when we are sleeping - in the middle of the night!

Fabulous Friday!

I had a Fabulous Friday! I have lot's of research and phone calls to make - I'm excited! Things are looking up! There is hope for us after all! I am thinking positive!
