Hey, Ya'll! I'm Back!

I think I am. I have lots to tell. My life has been CRAZY!!! Or, maybe I can tell ya'll about some of the crazy people I have come in contact with lately. For example: I came across one of the most memorable names at work today: Gross ***ed. Who would name their child Gross! That poor kid has no chance! That poor kids parent who named them that should be the one with issues with the law, not the kid named gross, I don't know if they are male or female! If you tell someone or name someone that they will prove you right!

Hang in there! I'm trying to get back in sync with the blogging again. It won't be long and I will be back with lots of fun stories, contests and surprizes!!

Hey Ya'll, I'm still here!

Hello Everybody!
I'm still here, just have been very busy! I am actually in the Great Mid-Western state of Ohio as I type this. I had a wonderful visit tonight with my parents, and all of my brothers and sisters that live here except for my brother Mike, he had previous plans and could not make it. ; - (

I have some great stories to share and will soon. In the mean time the picture to the left is a hint!
What a wild drive down we had. Can't wait to tell ya' ll. Stay tuned!

WOW, What a Wonderful Wednesday!

I hope ya'll can say the same! First of all today is my Dad's 79th Birthday!!! I wish I was with him! He's in Ohio and I'm in North Carolina, 500 miles away. But... hopefully within the next few weeks we will make a trip up over Spring Break for a longgg over due visit. I miss my mom and day so much that it makes me cry.
Here is a picture of my mom and dad in the front, and their 7 beautiful children behind them. I am the 3rd from the right.

By the way, that is my "brother", the second from the right, not one of my sisters. J girl, get a haircut!

One of the reasons I have magnificent, terrific, wonderful, too-good-to-be-true, and fabulous days of the week is because I choose to! No other person can make you a happy person. That has to come from within you. This leads to my next question of the week:

WHEN YOU FEEL AS IF SOMEONE HAS HURT YOUR FEELINGS DO YOU:

Get mad and call them names: you are a loser, low life, stupid, immature, piece of s***

Or, do you feel sad and tell them you are upset and sad they feel that way and would like to sit down and talk about it?

Saturday Stunner = Sunday Dinner

Hello Everyone,

Meat Tom. He had quite a trip today:

On Interstate 485 in Charlotte, NC, he flew thru Ryans front windshield, crashed thru the back window, and by the Grace of God Nicole and Ryan were not seriously injured! He flew inbetween their heads! (They ducked). I want to personally thank all of the good samaritans that witnessed this freak accident and decided that they didn't need to stop and offer any assistance, or to make sure they were OK. Hope ya'll that slowed down and took pictures enjoyed the view. Hope you never are in the same situation. But just in case you are: Ryan will offer you assistance. He's the one that pulled several people out of ditches after our recent ice, snow storm. No, he didn't accept any money, even though it was offered, because that is Ryan. He did not mention that no one stopped to check on them, I asked Nicole. Anyway, I Thank God that they are OK.

Yesterday was a rough day. ; - <
I was innocently working, and suddenly I got a huge pop-up that said I had a virus. I kept deleting and ignoring it but it only got worse! It got to the point where I couldn't even get online! "FREAKING OUT, FREAKING OUT" Of course the office staff consisted of me and "The Big Guy" only. Everyone else was either sick or faking sick or making sales calls. So I did the only reasonable thing I could think of. I went into talk to "The Big Guy" and said, " my computer has an infection". Because he is a member of Mensa and one of those geniuses, he has no sense of humor. He said, "What are you talking about"? I quietly answered, "I think it's a VIRAL infection". Well, being the mild mannered Big Guy that he is he asked, "HAVE YOU BEEN SURFING THE INTERNET"? I quietly responded, well, you know I was not in the office yesterday and R**** was. In the 2 1/2 years I have worked with that person they have never been sick and neither has my computer! (I'm sorry R****, but you weren't there and I had to blame someone). So I told the Big Guy: Well, R**** had to go into my office the day I wasn't there to get some paperwork to do me a favor and... now they both have a virus. Hmmm... still no sense of humor.
The Big Guy decided to do a virus scan to hopefully find and fix the problem. In the mean time, I felt like he was being a little, "too nice". But, I also started to feel the ground shake and some rumbling, like a volcano. The scan took a long time and I had nothing to do except pray. And I did! Occasionally he walked into my office to see if the virus was found and repaired. It was not found. For the first time in my life I asked God for a virus. OK. I begged God for a virus. (thanks God for not answering that prayer. Remindes me of that song, "Sometimes I Thank God For Unanswered Prayers). Anyway, the volcano was getting louder and louder so, I decided to put my stuff in my car to make a quick get-away in-case it errupted. It was getting closer and closer. Finally, I asked the Big Guy if I needed to be there, (I should have left 1/2 hour ago). He had smoke coming out of his ears and said: WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO BE HERE? YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING! I said OK, bye, and ran out to my car and left. (I swear I heard the eruption as I was pulling out).

Woo Hoo Wednesday, WOW

I hope everyone is as wonderful as me. I want to tell you about my wild, weird day!
(OK, I was kidding. It was just another day at work. But I had fun working and talking with ****erly).

Are ya'll into Twitter these days? I love it! I twitter allll day. The best part is it only takes one minute, then you can get back to work. For example, a couple of my twitters today were:
I just used the restroom. (45 minutes ago) I filled up my water bottle for the 3rd time today!
(30 minutes ago) I had 2 pieces of pizza for lunch and am still hungry! (15 minutes ago).
When I learn how to post my messages I will let you know how to follow me on twitter!! I love it!

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while but my life has been CRAZY!!!
We have had snow, illness, and one of the cats is crapping in the bottom of the pantry. Thank you Kristy for cleaning it up!!! I tried, but threw up. Enough said.

I have gained back all the weight that I lost when I was sick, even though I haven't eaten much. I think I am cursed. I swear, if I even think about food I gain weight. I am trying this new weight loss thing, where if you imagine that your fat cells are shrinking, shrinking that they will! I'll keep you posted and let you know.

I am also adding, Terrible, or Terrific Tuesdays. Wild, weird, or What the heck Wednesdays. Thursday, humm...I'll get back to you on Thursdays. Fridays, I'm freaking fried.

A Special Day...

When you retire for the night and realize you still have a wad of gum in your mouth, and put it on the night stand next to your bed, next to the wax ear plugs that you will need in the middle of the night when your spouse starts snoring, be careful in the dark, that you pick up the wax to put in your ear, and not the gum.

Tomorow is a very special day for me thanks to my mom and dad. It is the anniversary of my birth. There is a beautiful story behind my name, A TRUE STORY, I promise. WARNING!! There will be language used that is NOT politically correct, but it was acceptable 40 + years ago.

Once upon a time, 40+ years ago, a beautiful princess, "Joanne", and her handsome prince, "Mike", welcomed the perfect child into this world. She was born on February 25, 19??
The beautiful mother wanted to name her georgeous daughter, Darlene. The beautiful mother's mother, "Grandma Heile", said, NO! I know a retarded girl named Darlene! If you name her that, I will think, "retard everytime I see her".

Thank you mom for my name, and for telling me that amazing story.
